The Seychelles ‘International Business Company’ (IBC) which is equivalent to the Mauritius Authorised Company (previously known as GBC 2) has proved to be very popular. The IBC is exempt from paying any tax in the Seychelles.

The Seychelles IBC provides added confidentiality and flexibility than the Mauritius Authorised Company (AC) in that:

• it is not required to file annual financial summary or tax return to the Seychelles authorities, unlike the Authorised Company;
• since there is no filing of accounts in Seychelles, there is no daily statutory fines for late filing, unlike for ACs in Mauritius.
